Tina Nowak
Owner & Director
Tina Nowak, AKA Drama Mama, is a former, elementary teacher for CCSD for 13 years. During her time with CCSD, she was involved in leadership, served on the new teacher training cadre, mentored and supervised student teachers, and taught 4th grade for the majority of those years. Tina holds a Masters in Elementary Ed Educational Leadership +32 hours. Her last two years of her career in CCSD was spent as an elementary drama specialist until elementary drama programs were eliminated due to budget cuts. It was at this time, Tina resigned from CCSD in 2008 and was determined to provide the youth of Las Vegas with similar opportunities to gain confidence, improve communication skills, and set the stage for a lifetime of success.
Tina strongly believes that no matter how intellectual a person is, in this day and age, strong academics just won’t cut it. An articulate and expressive person, with dynamic presentation skills, will heavily outweigh the soft-spoken, scholar. Students who speak out clearly, and relate confidently with peers, develop skills that make the journey through life much easier. She, along with her awesome, talented staff at Drama Kids of Las Vegas thrives on giving children the best gift ever: the gift of CONFIDENCE.
