Emily Mattice Roll

Owner & Director

My name is Emily Mattice Roll and I am the current owner/director of Drama Kids Rochester. I spend most of my time as “Miss Emily” and strive to enrich lives through the arts. When I was 14 years old, I launched an art club for kids that I wanted to grow into a business. Now, ten years later, Adventures & Art continues to develop as a center for creativity. I love being a working artist, instructor, and business owner.

After seeing how Drama Kid’s programs aligned with my mission to support the community’s well-being with creative activities for youth, I became a Drama Kids Instructor in 2015. I’m thrilled to be the new Director of Drama Kids of Rochester and continue teaching!

Drama Kids International believes that children should be given the opportunities to develop their skills and confidently express themselves Add new owner greeting or other instructions here through creativity. The skills they learn and the confidence they gain in DKI programs creates a lifelong impact on our students and society as a whole. The unique curriculum is focused on the individual child and the personal growth they achieve instead of “just” the theater production.

I truly look forward to working with our Drama Kids Team, Students, and Families. As we navigate life after COVID-19, I’m optimistic that we can work hard to bring our amazing programs to the Greater Rochester Area while prioritizing health and happiness! At Drama Kids, we are committed to providing each student with an extraordinary experience in developing their speaking skills, acting abilities, and confidence.
