Our classes help children and young adults develop important life skills: Public Speaking, Creative Thinking, Collaboration, Problem Solving, Leadership, And More!
In-School Drama Programs
Full Year Curriculum Overview:
Drama Kids classes are built to allow children to grow from class to class. Curriculum is developmental and progressive!
Weeks 1-12: Basic Acting Skills: acting tools body, voice, & imagination, building trust, collaboration (working together as an ensemble), speaking skills, spatial awareness, and much more.
Weeks 13-22: Performance Skills: blocking, building characterization, improvisation, reacting, developing expression & stage projection.
Week 23-Last day of Class: Collaborative activities that include group scenes, group improvisations, and more. Preparing students for their Parent Participation Day that is held the second to last week of class.
Does my child have to enroll for the full year and why?
While it is not required that your child commit to the full year and students can join a skills class at any time throughout the year, it is strongly suggested that they attend as many classes as they can! Drama Kids is a skills-based program focusing on building our student’s confidence through interactive and developmental drama activities. Each class builds on the last! Just as in sports, progress can only be made if you attend practice. The same concept applies to Drama Kids classes. Parents see significantly more growth in their children’s confidence, public speaking skills, and more if they commit to the full year of classes.
Barrington Middle

Drama Kids offers classes directly on the school campus at Barrington Middle School in the cafeteria immediately following dismissal. Students should be picked up in the car loop promptly at the conclusion of class unless arrangements have been made to send them to HOST.
Cimino Elementary

Drama Kids offers classes directly on the school campus at Cimino Elementary in the multipurpose room immediately following dismissal. Students should be picked up in the car loop promptly at the end of class unless arrangements have been made to send them to HOST.
Innovation Prep Academy

Drama Kids offers classes directly on campus at Innovation Prep Academy immediately following dismissal. Students should be picked up in the car loop promptly at the conclusion of class unless arrangements have been made to send them to after-care.
Lithia Springs Elementary
4332 Lynx Paw Trail, Valrico, FL 33596
Drama Kids offers classes directly on the school campus at Lithia Springs Elementary immediately following dismissal. Students will meet in the multi-purpose room on the stage after school. Students should be picked up in the bus loop promptly at the conclusion of class unless after-school arrangements have been made. If your child attends BMS or Kids R Kids, you MUST fill out our Waiver Form.
Mintz Elementary
1510 Heather Lakes Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511
Drama Kids offers classes directly on the school campus at Mintz Elementary immediately following dismissal. Students should be picked up in the car loop promptly at the end of class unless arrangements have been made to send them to HOST.
Nelson Elementary
5413 Durant Rd, Dover, FL 33527
Nelson Elementary students are able to attend Creative Drama classes on school campus. Students will meet the in art room then be escorted to the Drama Kids classroom by the Drama Kids Teacher. Students should be picked up in the bus loop promptly at the conclusion of class unless arrangements have been made to send them to HOST.
Pride Elementary

Drama Kids offers classes directly on the school campus at Pride Elementary immediately following dismissal. Students should be picked up in the car loop promptly at the conclusion of class unless arrangements have been made to send them to after-care.
