“Andrew has been in Drama Kids since kindergarten and full time since 3rd grade, he is now in 6th grade. I cannot express how amazing this program is for so many reasons. It has provided wonderful friendships, great public speaking skills, and opened his eyes to seeing other professional productions. This is so important for kids to be exposed as most schools do not have time in there curriculum for kids to have this type of opportunity. The productions put on by Drama Kids are always top notch. The staff of Drama Kids are very enthusiastic and encouraging and always set a tone of unconditional support. When COVID hit and the switch was made to online classes and rehearsals, we were afraid the change would be overwhelming and it just wouldn’t be the same. Our fears were completely and totally unfounded. It is wonderful how they have been able to successfully transition and still keep all of the kids active and engaged. While my son can’t wait to be able to resume live performances, he is thriving in the online classes and loves that he still gets to interact with all of his favorite friends and teachers!”

“When I picked up Joel the first day of Drama class I asked him “did you like it?” In a low voice he said “I didn’t like it” then in a louder and enthusiastic voice he shouted, “I LOVED IT”. That says it all. Then to top that off, he was really sick one week and I told him you won’t be able to go to school and he literally started crying, ” I have to go to school” so I asked him why, he said “I don’t want to miss Drama class.” He then asked me if I could take him in the afternoon for drama class. He was ok with missing school because he was really sick but it was not ok to miss Drama class.”

“I just have to thank you, Faith and Drama Kids, for what you are already doing for my boys! We are only two classes in and I have an awesome a story to share. Today my boys, 8 and 4, created “tickets” to a show I was to attend at 10:30 this morning 🙂 They put a blanket down on the floor to create the “stage”, had props (suitcases and stuffed animals), and my oldest queued my youngest when to “end scene”! They even took a bow at the end! smile emoticon They put on two very thought out plays with impressive dialogue! I was in shock! Not only were they getting along (lol!) but they were working together and having a blast! I cannot wait to see what else develops in them this spring semester! Thank you, thank you!!!”

I love your DKI Acting Academy, this is my third year. If I didn’t join drama, I would not be the same person, I am today. I can speak so easily in front of adults, large groups, friends, and new people. It’s funny when my friends tell me they can hear me from another room. I can’t help it, Drama Kids taught me to speak louder and clearer. I have also made so many friends. One of which is the instructor, Sandee. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She is so down to earth, supportive, and relates to everybody. She truly is a friend of mine. I love the program, if you mess up one week you don’t have to be worried you won’t get a part in the end of the year play, because that’s not what the emphasis is on. It’s about having fun, learning new things, and gaining self confidence. Drama Kids Intl. has changed my life, it has given me friends, fun, and most importantly confidence. What else could a person, especially a person like me ask for? My answer…nothing.
