I have been teaching for Drama Kids since April 2004. I have seen first hand through my students, myself and my own daughter the growth, confidence and self esteem that Drama Kids can bring. I am so lucky to continue working with my DK families and helping more children become confident.
Martianne Stanger
Teacher
Martianne joined our team in March 2006 and is currently our Homeschool Drama Kids teacher. She offers nearly 20 years of experience in education and youth work, having taught at both public and private schools in the US and abroad. Additionally, Martianne has acted in over 30 stage and film productions, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, has experience teaching students age two to 60+ and is MA certified to teach Middle School General Studies and English 8-12. Her passion for drama and learning is shared by our students.
Kylie was a student in Drama Kids for seven years and has been teaching at the Hanover summer camp for the past three years. She is the director of the all-female a cappella group, Girl Treble, at her high school. She enjoys playing in the orchestra pit as well as performing in musicals like Les Miserables, The Music Man, and Into the Woods. This will be her first year teaching Drama Kids during the school year, and she can’t wait to help her students act and grow the way that her teachers did with her.
Bobby is thrilled to be teaching at Drama Kids! A graduate of Suffolk University’s Theatre program (class of 2015). Bobby spent his undergrad years becoming a “jack of all trades” and took many classes in Theater Education, Stage Management, Arts Administration, Design, Dramaturgy, Directing, Playwriting and Performing. While at Suffolk Bobby was featured in many of the main stage productions including : These Seven Sicknesses, Midsummer Night, and Servant of Two Masters as well as directing and writing his own show: The Normal Election for the Fall Student Showcase. Recently Bobby was last seen performing with Bridgewater State University’s Family Performing Art’s Center in their productions of Shrek The Musical and Beauty and the Beast. Bobby has also worked for Arts for Youth and is a TA with the Mansfield Music and Arts Society.
Cassandra has started teaching for drama Kids in October of 2018 and loves every minute of it! She graduated In 2016 from Bridgewater State University, getting her bachelor’s in Communications with a concentration in Theatre Performance and a minor in Musical Theatre. She has been dancing and performing for 20 years and doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon! She has been seen in Family Performing Arts Center’s productions of Marry Poppins, Once Upon A Mattress, and The Little Mermaid. She’s super stoked to see the growth of confidence in her students for sessions to come!
