Welcome to Drama Kids International of N. Tarrant County!
Laura Stephenson is the director/owner of Drama Kids of North Tarrant County. Laura has a degree in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. She has a love for drama but was too shy as a child and teenager to ever pursue her passion. It wasn’t until her adult years that she gained her confidence. She loves children and has always wanted to help children fulfill their dreams and knows first-hand that confident and effective communication skills are important to learn early on. She believes it’s never too early to help our children cultivate these skills that are rarely natural, and perhaps a dying art in our culture. As a mother, Laura knows the stress that kids face today with having to speak in front of the class, deliver the book report, run for student body, or represent the sports team in front of peers and parents.
We are very proud to be able to bring this amazing accredited program to North Tarrant County. We know that drama develops kids and we take great pride in our program and are committed to making sure your child receives an excellent experience. In order to grow, students need to gain independence and self-esteem, yet work as a team. They want to be challenged, but feel supported and praised for their efforts. All of these qualities are wonderfully built through drama and in particular, through our internationally recognized Drama Kids program.
