Get ready for different adventures each week! Visit a tropical paradise one week and travel the high seas as pirates seeking treasures another week. Be movie stars on the red carpet, wizards concocting magic potions, animals negotiating who should be the king of the jungle, villagers confronting a selfish giant and many other interesting characters. Students will also create their own short scenes to present to parents. Through our different activities, we will develop our students’ presentation skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills. Students will do speech exercises, short plays, improvisation exercises, dance dramas and games. Every week, students will have fun new adventures and many opportunities to unleash their creativity.
Grades 4-5 Class
Join us for different adventures! Come explore a mysterious underground cave, design a new city, create music videos and your own commercials, and complete a dangerous mission as spies. Students will also work together in small groups to write and perform their own short plays. Through this process, they will learn to develop interesting plots and characters, to negotiate and collaborate with each other, and learn to lead group discussions as the Director of the Day. While we continue to work on honing speech and presentation skills, there will be greater emphasis on creative thinking, improvisation, and characterization.
