My daughter loves Drama Kids! At the beginning of the year, she never would have gotten up in front of people to perform. Not only was she smiling each week when I picked her up but at the end of the year performance, she didn’t even have a second thought about performing in front of a room full of people!

Drama Kids is absolutely amazing! After my son joined, his increased interest in acting and theater has been fun to watch. Drama Kids exemplify everything that acting should be… a simple inner connection with each other but, importantly a JOY while performing. He comes home so happy and excited to tell me about what they worked on that day. I recommend Drama Kids to anyone who is looking to introduce theater, increase confidence in their child or simply wants to give their kiddo a fun time with other amazing kids.

I know this has a ton of 5 star reviews and that seems suspect but, I can assure you, it’s legit. Mr Ray was great with the kids and our boys love going to drama kids! They will for sure be back in the fall. It was an amazing way to explore a skill, and was only a 1 hour, 1 day a week commitment. The play was amazingly sweet and all the kids had a blast!!!

Ray is so patient, positive and encouraging…

This was the perfect extra-curricular activity we’d been searching for! The leaders were outstanding, and great with a bunch of very different kids. They managed to engage everyone, encourage cooperation, and inspire individual creativity. Activities were the perfect balance of structure and freedom, play and learning, following and leading. The kids really bonded across age groups, made lasting friendships, and built self-confidence on stage. This is great for anyone- aspiring performers or not. It’s just simply fun! Ideal location (my son’s school), ideal time (right after school), home for early dinner and happy as a clam. He absolutely loved it.

After his Drama Kids performance last week a mom told my son how good he was and that he seemed to be a “natural.” What she didn’t know was that before he started Drama Kids, my son wouldn’t talk in front of a group. He wasn’t shy and had no problem talking to people he knew but if you asked him to answer questions in class or speak in front of a small group, he would clam up. Drama Kids helped him learn to open up in a small and safe setting. Now his teachers at school comment on how great his presentations are, how he always makes eye contact and uses lots of expression and other parents comment on how he is a “natural” on stage. Thank you Drama Kids!

Thank you so much for continuing Drama even though the schools are closed. I think it’s especially important to bring some kind of normalcy to the kids during this time of social distancing. With schools closed and with social distancing, the kids miss seeing and being with their friends. My kids are getting bored with staying home and doing schoolwork. Tuesday both of my kids had their drama classes. I just had to email you to tell you just how happy they were to see their drama teacher and friends…

This was the first year my 10 yr old daughter has taken any drama class, and been with Drama Kids. Mr. Thomas and the amazing Drama Mama team deserve more that five stars! Not only did they bring out things in our children, thru drama, they could have never experienced w/o them, but they recognize each individual child, their talent, and verbalize this to them after their performance. How much this does for a child’s development and self-esteem!

More than anything, these two angels on earth care so deeply for these kids, LOVE what they do and boy does it show! 5 Star Google review

Sandy, just wanted to share with you how much my daughter, Emma, enjoys this class! She never wants to miss school on Friday because it would mean missing her drama class. This program gives her a fun peer group, promotes her self- confidence, and improves her clearness of speech, and she speaks at a nice volume level. We never have to ask her to speak up. Emma practices her lines without being asked. In fact, she frequently requests that we go over them with her. She really enjoys being around you and the other teachers. Regards,

Both of my kids loved being in Drama Kids in the Spring. They loved learning and acting out their play. It gave them a chance to be creative and have fun while boosting their confidence and learning team-building skills. I know this will benefit them in the future when having to give presentations in front of their class (we still say “project” around our house when someone is talking too softly to be heard):). I also think it is giving them a valuable lesson in teamwork and what it takes to achieve goals as a group.

Thanks for a great experience and we’ll see you again in the fall!
