Drama Kids Take 2 Performance Academy evening weekly classes include a wide range of creative activities that promote leadership, communication skills, and self-confidence in kids and young teens. Our Take 2 program caters specifically to students who want a more intensive theatre arts experience – done DRAMA KIDS style!

We focus on building confidence, not on the shows! No pressure. No auditions. No singing or dancing experience is required. Prior Drama Kids experience is a PLUS! Classes meet weekly for two hours. There will be a dress rehearsal prior to the show. These two-hour classes include creative, vocal, and body warm-ups along with a structured rehearsal for a performance, all taught by highly trained and experienced Drama Kids professional teachers!

Class size is extremely limited, so ACT FAST and sign up today! Class meets on Tuesdays, 6 – 8 pm, at Scioto Ridge Elementary School in Olentangy from January 16 – March 12. There will be a dress rehearsal on March 11, with our show on March 12. Take 2 Performance Academy tuition is $450 billed in three payments of $150 in January, February and March.

Our Take 2 Spring Play will be Treasure Island. Ahoy, me hearties! Robert Louis Stevenson’s adventure is adapted just for kids and brings a modern twist to the classic tale. Our hero’s dream comes to life when a Pirate Bones steps right into their bedroom and suddenly we are swept into the action of high seas adventure! Pirate Bones leaves our hero a treasure map and we’re off, sailing on our ship to Skeleton Island. There are many adventures to be discovered in this fun, action-filled, musical play!
