“If there’s a bright spot in all of this, it’s that Drama Kids is where Juliet first really found her passion for acting, which has launched her in turn into what she’s doing now. So if the purpose of Drama Kids is in part to introduce children to the world of theater, you’ve definitely succeeded with her.”

“It’s an amazing program and gives ALL the kids a chance to learn valuable drama skills and an opportunity to use them at the end of the class is a performance. Both our kids also took this program last summer as a summer camp, and it was one of their favorite camps!”
Greg, Drama Kids Dad
“My daughter had an amazing time participating in the Drama Kids virtual camp. Not only did it bring structure to her day, she had a ton of fun participating in the activities (coming up with different costume ideas, making different props, acting out different characters), and making new friends. The teachers were excellent and very engaging – even in a virtual environment. I would highly recommend Drama Kids!”

Drama Kids has been a great self-esteem builder for my daughter. She is learning to interact better with others and how to express herself the proper way. It is also providing a fun creative outlet for her and she is meeting her friends.

Drama Kids was the perfect outlet for my energetic 13 yr old. She was not only taught about theater and what goes into a production from start to finish, she also had an amazing mentor Cassie and she made friends for life !

I want to do classes the whole year! It’s like a class, but you have fun with friends while you learn!
Varvara, Upper Primary Student
So cute! I love how organized the lesson plans are too! Some of our other enrichment classes switch to online and it is a bit of a disaster
Thanks for setting this up! It’s great for the kids to have some normalcy. I’m sure a lot of work went into getting this off the ground.
Drama Kids has been a great outlet for our daughter, and I love knowing she’s having fun before school Friday mornings when I’m at work. A positive experience overall!

This is a wonderful program. Even my granddaughter’s teacher has commented on her speech. She no longer whispers and now speaks up for herself. Others have recognized the difference.

I once read somewhere that public speaking is the number one fear in America. The fact that it’s one of my greatest fears and one of my partner’s greatest strengths; we wanted our children to feel comfortable and confident speaking in front of a crowd. Enrolling them in Drama Kids was the perfect place to get them started. The teachers are engaging and the program is fun! We discovered that our kids love being on the stage. They’ve gained knowledge and skills related to public speaking that they will utilize in all facets of their lives. Thank you Drama Kids!

My 8 year old daughter has truly enjoyed participating in Drama Kids classes. It was a nice way to try something different than dance, while allowing her an outlet for creativity and imagination. She looks forward to her time with Ms. Carol every week!

I would recommend Drama Kids to everyone. I feel that any opportunity to express oneself and work as a team toward a common goal is a very important lesson for a growing mind especially involving the arts. Drama Kids provides that lesson well.

That was really cool! I sat back and observed two live meetings today. Yours was by far the best. Her teacher tried google meet- it was a disaster. Your meeting was organized, fun, purposeful and I could really see how you could make this work with instruction. Thanks for all you do!
My daughter Husai loves drama and you guys makes her shine. She is a wonderful girl and this is her calling. Drama Mama gives her confidence and good role models and she loves this. As a mom, I am very happy each day that she comes home and tells me what she learns. So, thanks for all you do!

Marlo has a unique life. She has a brother with Autism. He is in therapy 5 days a week and is constantly going to specialists. Because of this, Marlo can sometimes feel second fiddle. We do so much to try to accommodate, but it weighs heavily on our minds and conscience. With this program, Marlo was given a chance to be completely in the spotlight. She was allowed to blossom and shine. She loved the skills she learned and practiced them with us often at home. The performance was especially touching for all of us. All of the family came to watch her (parents, grandparents and friends). She did spectacular. She had her moment in the spotlight and she shined bright. We recorded the moment to remember and she talks about it still. Thank you for providing Marlo a venue to feel important, unique and special.
All our best,
the Olsons
Amelie absolutely loves Drama Kids. She has learned how to project her voice and use phrasing and emphasis to convey different messages. She has also learned to understand the difference between acting and real-life. For example, she learned that if someone acts mad at you in a skit, they aren’t really mad at you when it’s over. Or if people laugh at you on stage, they aren’t making fun of you, they are enjoying the performance. She always jumps at the opportunity to participate in any Drama Kids activity. She had so much fun dancing and singing in the Drama Mamas Video. She loved her Friday classes so much that she wanted a more involved opportunity for acting and auditioned for the Bellevue Youth Theater. She had her debut in Robin Hood last weekend and is such a little personality on the stage. She had the audience laughing repeatedly with her line delivery.

I really wanted to thank you for your time and so much encouragement. It really worked and it build Jackie from inside out, which is my objective. Your lessons were extremely valuable and she would not be successful without them. I hope to be able to work with you in the future, whether in a group or private session.
Sincerely,
Hana – Jackie’s mom
“I am the co-VP of programs and the chair for extracurricular programming at Emily Dickinson Elementary in Redmond, Washington. In the summer of 2010 I was contacted by Lisa Loomis as she was interested in bringing DramaKids into our school. As I had had some previous interest in a drama program I chose to give DramaKids a try. The program has been excellent. The kids have really enjoyed it and the DramaKids staff is first rate. I had very high registration for the program. So high, that we needed to add a second class to our schedule. Lisa was very responsive to the added demand and on the first day she came ready with 2 additional instructors. Further, it is always challenging during the first few weeks of class to make sure we track down all of the kids, and Lisa worked successfully to get all of them in the right place. Her communication has been first rate and working with Lisa and DramaKids has been a real pleasure. We have booked DramaKids for a second session in Emily Dickinson and expect it to be as successful this time around.”
Adam, our youngest, tends to be the very shy type, even when around people he has known for a long time. However, more recently, he has “bloomed” in his personality and his confidence.
When I saw Adam give his first performance with his group, I knew that Drama Kids was what he needed all along. A parent usually knows what potential is in their children; in this case, it took Drama Kids to bring that to the surface.

I just wanted to tell you (and Mr. Mark if you could pass it along) that my kids really enjoyed themselves and got a lot out of your class. And I am so glad that I volunteered and got to see the process!! It was great! Yesterday they auditioned for the Missoula play that our school is doing and I could see their confidence shining through. So thanks!
