Our Director, Kimberly Harbert, holds a BS Psychology degree from Notre Dame De Namur University and earned her MS Degree in Industrial Relations/Organizational Development PSY from San Jose State University. Kimberly has over fourteen years of public outreach and marketing service experience. She has worked with a variety of audiences throughout California, such as students, PTAs, senior centers, local businesses and government departments. Kimberly’s, now grown children, attended a similar type of developmental drama class. As she observed her children’s self-confidence soar and personalities’ blossom, she knew her kids were learning more than just fun skits! As a parent, concerned about the daily challenges our youth face, she felt a sense of relief knowing her children could express themselves in a variety of situations. It did not stop there, the articulation, delightful demeanor and negotiation skills later proved helpful with their ability to perform for class presentations, youth leadership roles, college and job interviews, etc…It was this type of experience that inspired Kimberly to provide similar opportunities for children to gain confidence and set the stage for a lifetime of success.
