Rachael Harrell (Drama Mama)

Director, Owner & Instructor

Rachael Harrell is the director/owner of Drama Kids International of Northern Michigan. Rachael received her Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from Roosevelt University in Chicago and worked as a professional actor for several years. After moving to Los Angeles in 2000, she worked with producer Mark Burnett on television shows like “Survivor” and “The Apprentice”, and also developed sitcom and drama pilots in a partnership with Warner Brothers. Later, she developed and produced many independent films with the company Perfect Weekend working closely with talented producers, directors, casting directors, and actors, including co-production of a “tween” film called “The Greening of Whitney Brown” (starring Brooke Shields, Aidan Quinn, Kris Kristofferson and Sammi Hanratty). With a wide variety of dramatic experiences under her belt, Rachael is very proud to be able to share this amazing accredited program that develops confidence and creativity through drama with communities in northern Michigan.
