Dawn Snyder
Drama & Acting Teacher
Dawn Snyder has been acting and performing for over 15 years. She graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a BA in Theatre. Dawn is currently working in Stand-up and sketch comedy all throughout the metro-atlanta area. She also works at THE EVENT in Orlando three times a year, where she gets to coach children on the audition process right before they actually audition for casting directors and agents from across the nation. She truly loves working with children through Dramakids, which is why she has been teaching with us for over 5 years.
Christie Reiersen
Drama & Acting Teacher
Christie Reiersen is a recent transplant from New York City, where she spent the last ten years acting, directing and organizing workshops for children. She has a B.A. in theatre from Northeast Louisiana University and an M.F.A in acting from the University of Arkansas. In between getting her degrees and becoming a mother of two adorable boys, she has toured with children’s theatre in Minnesota, taught youth theatre camps in Arkansas and directed children’s play festivals in New York City. After pounding the pavement as a working actor, she took a break to get married, have children and run a ceramics studio. Now she is thrilled to be back to one of her true passions of helping kids reach their potential through imagination, play and the arts.
Danielle Dowell
Drama / Theater Arts practitioner
Danielle is a Marietta local with a lifelong love for the stage. She grew up deeply involved in theater, which played an important role in shaping her both personally and professionally. Over the years, she has directed plays, led drama camps, and worked with children of all ages to spark their creativity and confidence. Danielle was honored to be selected for the Governor’s Honors Program in theater and received several scholarships for her performances.
Now, as both a teacher and a mom, Danielle is passionate about sharing the joy of acting with the next generation. She believes theater is not only about performing, but also about building teamwork, imagination, and self-expression in a supportive and fun environment.
Kim Nicole Reed Thomas
Drama / Theater Arts practitioner
Kim has a B.A. I Theater Education from Alabama State University. Focus performance and Directing. Kim earned her Master of Arts Degree from Southern New Hampshire University in English and Creative writing with a focus in poetry and screen writing. Kim has been teaching theater for 15 years or so. Kim is a working actress. She has toured with the world Famous Harlem Globe Trotters as their comedic Grandmother.
Kim is the founder and the director of Acting 4 Christ Theater Productions ,Yeshua Films ,and the founder and director of Kim’s Drama Academy. Kim is also a special effects makeup artist.
