I am Sandee Leonhard, director, and owner of Drama Kids of South Nassau, now in our 20th year in Nassau County.
Having grown up here and now raising my family here, I feel lucky to have such strong ties to my community. It brings me great joy to provide a creative theatrical outlet for children.
I am passionate about building confidence and self-esteem in young people through the wonderful fun fast-paced Drama Kids program. My background is in theater, having studied at the State University of NY at Purchase and Adelphi University.
I have also taken my talents abroad to work in children’s theater internationally, including the Bahamas, Israel, and Greece. But New York has always been my home, and I love the unique experiences that can unfold here.
