Take 2

Performance Class

Take 2 Performance classes are performances done Drama Kids style. Our students are our #1 focus. Throughout the rehearsal process, we help students build confidence. There is no pressure to be perfect, and no singing or dancing experience is required.

Drama Kids Take 2 Performance Academy evening weekly classes include a wide range of creative activities that promote leadership, communication skills, and self-confidence in kids and young teens. Our Take 2 program caters specifically to students who want a more intensive theatre arts experience – done DRAMA KIDS style!

We focus on building confidence, not on the shows! No pressure. No auditions. No singing or dancing experience is required. Prior Drama Kids experience is a PLUS! Classes meet weekly for two hours. There will be a dress rehearsal prior to the show. These two-hour classes include creative, vocal, and body warm-ups along with a structured rehearsal for a performance, all taught by highly trained and experienced Drama Kids professional teachers!

Class size is extremely limited, so ACT FAST and sign up today! Class meets on Tuesdays, 6 – 8 pm, at Scioto Ridge Elementary School in Olentangy from September 16 – November 11. There will be a dress rehearsal on November 17, with our show on November 18. Dress Rehearsal and the performance will take place at Hyatts Middle School in Olentangy. Take 2 Performance Academy tuition is $450 billed in three payments of $150 in September, October, and November.

Our Take 2 Fall play will be Kid Frankenstein! Kid Frankenstein is a fun, positive, comedic adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic story; designed specifically for young performers. Frankie and Irving are science fans who have an unusual idea for the upcoming Science Fair. When a strange book arrives from Transylvania, the friends are whisked into a sci-fi world of time-warped, weird, hilarious, and lively adventures! We can’t wait to bring this humorous twist to the classic tale to the Take 2 stage!
