Director / Teacher
Thomas is excited about being part of the “teaching staff”. Thomas has been singing and acting since he was 6 years old. He graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, with a Minor in Theater.
Melissa, is the proud mother of 8 year old Devin Deschenes. Melissa has appeared in various movies and television shows as a background actor and has rediscovered her passion for acting. Drama Kids is the next step in her planned career change from Austin Community College where she studied marketing and business. When Melissa found out about our Drama Kids program. She liked that we focused on building confidence, speaking and creative thinking skills. She knew it was the ideal match for her talents. Melissa wants to use her experience to help our young Drama Kids.
Keanu is excited about joining our Drama Kids teaching staff. With six years of theatre experience, including directing short films, he is already making a difference in helping students.
Jaymie, who likes to be called Jay, is a mother of two and proud military wife. She has four years of performing arts experience including theater and dance (Jazz and hip hop). Jay loves her Drama Kids students and can’t wait till her own kids are old enough to enroll!
Cammery is excited to be returning to Drama Kids! Cammery loves working with children and encouraging them to dream big. A former costume designer and graduate of Southern Utah University, Cammery has always been a theater lover and is glad to be using that love to help kids grow!
Sue is excited about working with Drama Kids. As a former educator of 26 years, Drama Kids allows Sue to return to her theatrical roots! Sue obtained her B.F.A. in Acting and Directing from West Virginia University and looks forward to using her skills to foster creativity within our Drama Kids!

Christopher is excited about becoming a teacher with Drama Kids. His goal with Drama Kids is to use his B.A. in Acting Performance and Production to change kid’s perspective regarding public speaking and social pressures, and make them fearless individuals.
Anna is a sophomore at UTSA, and she is excited to be able to share her passion for the stage with children, inspire them to dream big, and explore new horizons. Although not pursuing a degree in theater, Anna has years of experience in acting, costuming, and improvisation. Working with the lessons Drama Kids provide, Anna knows her students will thrive in their everyday lives for years to come!
Alex recently graduated from Floresville High School with honors and is currently in trade school for welding. A former Drama Kid of six years, he transitioned to being Drama Mama’s stage manager during Spring performances and is now proud to be a Drama Kids’ assistant teacher. Alex brings a valuable and unique perspective to our Drama Kids students using the creativity fostered through our own program.
Anna is a freshman at UT of San Antonio and loves working at Drama Kids. Taking theatre throughout middle school and high school Anna knows first-hand how it can build confidence, create team work, and give kids a “second home” to express themselves. Anna plans to become a pediatrician and can’t wait to use the life lessons she learns at Drama Kids in her career!
