Meagan Ennis
Owner/Director
Meagan is the Owner/Director for Drama Kids of Clay and South St. Johns County. She acquired the business for the 26/27 school year from her mentor and former Owner/Director Latascha Williamson. Meagan started the Drama Kids program as a teacher and fell in love with the program and the children. She believes in the program and has seen how it truly helps children build confidence and learn important life skills. She cherishes those moments when things click for the children and those life skills are instilled in them. Her passion for the program coupled with her Master’s degree and experience in Human Resources made her an excellent candidate to take over the business. She can’t wait to see it thrive and grow beyond what Latascha has built.
Ms. Alexis
Drama & Acting Teacher
Ms, Alexis has been involved in childcare and with children’s events since the age of 12. She opened her own summer camp with various activities for kids to choose from, grow and explore in their interests. Ms. Alexis has also been involved in event planning for school graduations, parties, and holiday performances. Her love of drama came from her grandmother taking her to local theatre performances. From the start of writing plays for her church to now being the Drama Director at Ketterlinus Elementary School, Ms, Alexis has not only fostered and shared her love of drama but has also thrived! In her spare time, she enjoys reading suspense novels, being a cheer mom, and spending time with her daughter, Angel. It was also her love for Angel that inspired her to create a club for mentoring young girls, giving them a place to talk, feel safe, and form lasting bonds with one another. Ms. Alexis is truly someone who cares, and dedicates herself to everything she does and everyone she works with!
Mr. Yanier
Drama & Acting Teacher
Mr. Yanier was born and raised in Hialeah, FL and moved to St. Augustine after gaining a degree in Coastal Environmental Science from Flagler College. His natural ability to entertain, willingness to go the extra mile for those he teaches and scientific background has consistently gained the interest of others. Following his experience educating and entertaining elementary age students as a zoological camp counselor, Mr. Yanier quickly learned that he thrived in this position and wished to continue a career working with children. He has established a personal goal of being a fun, enjoyable science educator and joined the Drama Kids team to help make a positive difference in the lives of children and to have fun educating them through theatre!
