Latascha Williamson
Owner & Director
Latascha is excited to bring Drama Kids to the St. Augustine and Clay county areas! She has lived in the Jacksonville area for over 15 years and has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist since graduating from Auburn University with her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders. Helping others with effective communication and expressing themselves has always been her niche. Latascha’s pride and joy are her two children, Jada Marie and Jaxon. Her adoration for the arts originates from years of support and involvement in Jada Marie’s pursuit of Musical Theatre. Her 20+ years of working with clients and enhancing their communication skills combined with her real-life “Drama Mama” role has led to the perfect fit of becoming a Drama Kids Franchise Owner.
Ms. Lisa
Drama & Acting Teacher
After several years of working in the home as a full-time mom of three, Ms. Lisa is thrilled to be working as a Drama Kids teacher! Ms. Lisa fell in love with the stage at a very young age. Her extensive performance background includes various plays, musicals, choirs, ensembles, and over 25 years as a worship leader. Most recently, Ms. Lisa had the privilege of recording and touring with Grammy award-winning artists Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Music. In addition to her experience in the performing arts, Ms. Lisa has worked in the education field as a teacher and a Speech-Language Pathologist. Her desire is to incorporate her skills as a performer and educator to help students explore their creativity, build self-confidence, and cultivate a love for the arts.
Ms. Alexis
Drama & Acting Teacher
Ms, Alexis has been involved in childcare and with children’s events since the age of 12. She opened her own summer camp with various activities for kids to choose from, grow and explore in their interests. Ms. Alexis has also been involved in event planning for school graduations, parties, and holiday performances. Her love of drama came from her grandmother taking her to local theatre performances. From the start of writing plays for her church to now being the Drama Director at Ketterlinus Elementary School, Ms, Alexis has not only fostered and shared her love of drama but has also thrived! In her spare time, she enjoys reading suspense novels, being a cheer mom, and spending time with her daughter, Angel. It was also her love for Angel that inspired her to create a club for mentoring young girls, giving them a place to talk, feel safe, and form lasting bonds with one another. Ms. Alexis is truly someone who cares, and dedicates herself to everything she does and everyone she works with!
