Jennifer Downs
Director
Jennifer Downs has been teaching children’s theatre for over 28 years. She holds degrees in both Elementary Education and Theatre Arts from BYU-Hawaii. Jennifer has been performing since she was a little girl! Her passion for the performing arts and love of children lead her to San Diego Junior Theatre where she worked for 10 yrs as a teaching artist, main stage director and choreographer. She has taught after school theatre classes for Poway, San Diego and Temecula Unified School Districts. Jennifer loves teaching children how to tap into their own imagination, creativity, and voice. She strongly believes a child who can think outside box and confidently express themselves has unlimited potential. As Albert Einstein said, “Logic will get you from A to B.
