Welcome to Drama Kids of King County!
Meet the Owner
My name is Cassie Welliver, and I am the owner/director of Drama Kids of King County. I know firsthand the paramount importance of excellent communication skills in order for our children to be successful. With over 25 years of theatre experience in performance and management, I know just how beneficial our acting classes and after-school drama activities can be for children of all ages. When I learned about Drama Kids’ proven curriculum, I was so excited for the opportunity to fuse my two passions…theater and teaching children! And this Summer, when the adjacent territory became available for purchase, I jumped at the chance to serve even more families!
Drama Kids International believes that children should be given the opportunities to develop their skills and confidently express themselves through creativity. The skills they learn and the confidence they gain through our acting classes for kids creates a lifelong impact on our students and society as a whole. The unique curriculum is focused on the individual child and the personal growth they achieve instead of just the “theater production.” (Although being a part of a production is also a wonderful experience!)
At Drama Kids, we are committed to providing each student with an extraordinary experience developing their speaking skills, acting abilities, and confidence. These exciting, fast-paced kids and teens acting classes will give your child the best gift ever: confidence! If you would like to bring our exciting acting after-school programs to your King County area charter, private, or public school, please give us a call. We can also partner with your PTA’s and donate money to their fund! Thank you for your interest in our programs. We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.
