Drama & Acting Classes
Drama Kids’ award-winning drama & acting classes are now open in New Tampa! DRAMA ISN’T JUST FOR KIDS WHO WANT TO BE ACTORS! Our classes help children and young adults develop important life skills: Public Speaking, Creative Thinking, Collaboration, Problem Solving, Leadership, and more!
Full-Year Curriculum Overview:
Drama Kids classes are built to allow children to grow from class to class. Curriculum is developmental and progressive!
Weeks 1-12: Basic Acting Skills: acting tools body, voice, & imagination, building trust, collaboration (working together as an ensemble), speaking skills, spatial awareness, and much more.
Weeks 13-22: Performance Skills: blocking, building characterization, improvisation, reacting, developing expression & stage projection.
Week 23-Last day of Class: Collaborative activities that include group scenes, group improvisations, and more. Preparing students for their Parent Participation Day that is held the second to last week of class.
New Tampa Musical Theatre Camps

Early Bird Pricing is valid until March 1st at which time the tuition will go up to regular pricing. This 1-week camp will end in a full theatrical performance open to the public. Take 2 Performance camps are performances done Drama Kids style. Our students are our #1 focus. Throughout the rehearsal process, we help students build confidence. There is no pressure to be perfect, and no singing or dancing experience is required.
Riverview Elementary School

Drama Kids offers classes directly on the school campus at Riverview Elementary immediately following dismissal. Students should be picked up in the car loop promptly at the conclusion of class unless arrangements have been made to send them to after school care.
