Welcome to Drama Kids, Twin Cities!

When you are looking for acting classes for kids in Minneapolis – what you may REALLY want is a way for your student to find their voice: gain confidence and express themselves creatively. More than just an acting school for kids, the Drama kids program promotes teamwork, self-esteem and creativity that are true life skills.

With sessions available in Edina, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Wayzata, Bloomington, Richfield, St Louis Park, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Osseo, Mounds View, Chaska, Chanhassen, Westonka, Minneapolis, Forest Lake and other Minneapolis locations, there is bound to be a location that works for you and your busy schedule. Click here to find our winter performance sessions.

At Drama Kids, we are 1,000 kids having fun and making friends through theater… while secretly learning how to succeed by developing effective communication skills, building self-confidence and become more resourceful and creative.

This winter we are offering two different sessions: One is SKILLS FOR THE STAGE where we focus each week on building a new stage skill such as using our voice to make a character, our body to show our energy or our faces to show emotion. We will also spend time working with props and improvisation so that we are building skills toward our more complex spring show. The other class is PROJECT SILVER SCREEN where we will be creating a DVD with 6 different scenes showcasing our student’s versatility in a number of different roles. Its the perfect blend of technology and arts to document a special time in your child’s life that you will want to keep forever. Classes are offered throughout our various locations.

Finally, we are excited to offer pre-school acting sessions at many New Horizons and Kinderberry Hill locations throughout the Twin Cities. Check with your local center to see when Drama Kids will be bringing its Enchanted Adventures to a pre-school location near you!

Our teachers are college graduates who are devoted to children’s theater as a career – not a part-time alternative to waiting tables. Our teachers attend over 40 hours of training in our Drama Kids methods where they gain skills to bring out the best in every student.

Because at Drama Kids, the difference is dramatic.
