The Drama Kids Difference

The Drama Kids difference is that we use positive encouragement and unique drama activities to meet all children where they are so they can find their own voice.

Teaching opportunities

Our developmental drama classes and unique teaching methods help all children, from the shy to the outgoing, discover their full potential. Drama Kids develops all kids and teaches them skills they will use throughout their lives to become confident speakers and creative thinkers!

We use our copyrighted, original curriculum in each class. Our after-school programs include a variety of drama-related educational classes and camps, primarily for children and young adults, ages 4-18, using a progressive curriculum that allows students to have fun, while also enabling them to develop:

Confidence

Creative Thinking

Self-Esteem

Acting Abilities

Public Speaking Skills

Leadership & Teamwork

Drama Kids “secret sauce” is a fun, fast-paced, and developmental class where all children participate in the entire class. This runs in contrast to typical children’s acting classes where the focus is on preparation for a single performance. Drama Kids children’s acting classes feature new lesson plans, scenes, and activities each week. Each class features 4-6 different components, with every class focusing on speech development, creative movement, and a wide variety of Main Lessons, including whole class plays, snippets, scene starters, and small group improvisations, just to name a few. Each class meets once weekly for one hour after school. Our programs can be found in schools and various community center locations.

This well-structured curriculum allows a student to begin attending Drama Kids classes at age 4 and continue through age 18, while getting something new and exciting each week! Children can enroll at any time during the school year, and new classes at new or existing locations can begin at any time during the school year. Our classes are broken down by age groups as follows:

KinderKids: Grades PK-K
Lower Primary: 4-5 years of age
Upper Primary: Grades 3-5
DKI Acting Academy (Grades 6-12)
In addition, summer camps are in “hot” demand. Drama Kids locations offer numerous week-long camps on either a half-day or full-day basis.

To learn more, we encourage you to review the balance of our corporate website and then find a location by using the “Locations” menu item above. Feel free to contact your nearest Drama Kids location using the “Contact Us” feature on your local Drama Kids franchise owner’s website.

Thanks again for your interest in Drama Kids. We look forward to working with your child soon!
