Theatre Resources for Winter Break

Winter break is soon approaching which means the kids will be home for the holidays! Drama Kids classes will be on pause until the new year so how will your child get their drama fix? We have compiled a list of theatre resources for your family to keep you entertained all winter long. Let’s keep our love of the theatre alive and burning while we are cuddled up in the comfort of our own homes. 

Videos and Online Theatre Performances

• Check out this awesome series from the American Theatre Wing full of videos about working in theatre.
• Check out the show Children’s Theatre Company on PBS, which has snippets of performances and shows adult actors including mentoring young actors.
• Here is a great list of family friendly musicals that you can watch during family movie nights.

Books for Young Theatre Lovers & Actors

• A is for Audra: Leading Ladies from A to Z is a colorful celebration of Broadway’s leading ladies.
• Kids Broadway Songbook, maybe work on some voice lessons at home?
