Our community program brings the Drama Kids award-winning curriculum to your community! DRAMA ISN’T JUST FOR KIDS WHO WANT TO BE ACTORS! Our classes help children and young adults develop important life skills: Public Speaking, Creative Thinking, Collaboration, Problem Solving, Leadership, And More!

2024-2025 School Year Classes Will Open for Enrollment on June 1st!

Full-Year Curriculum Overview:

Drama Kids classes are built to allow children to grow from class to class. Curriculum is developmental and progressive!

Weeks 1-9: Basic Acting Skills: acting tools body, voice, & imagination, building trust, collaboration (working together as an ensemble), speaking skills, spatial awareness, and much more.

Weeks 10-19: Performance Skills: blocking, building characterization, improvisation, reacting, developing expression & stage projection.

Weeks 20-29: Collaborative activities that include group scenes, group improvisations, and more. Preparing students for their Spring Presentation rehearsals.

Week 30-Last day of Class: Rehearsals for Spring Presentation. Although we are not a performance-focused program, during the last module, our students experience the rehearsal process & line memorization techniques.

Does my child have to enroll for the full year and why?

Drama Kids is a skills-based program focusing on building our student’s confidence through interactive and developmental drama activities. While it is not required that your child commit to the full year and students can join a skills class at any time throughout the year, it is strongly suggested that they attend as many classes as they can throughout the year! This is because our community classes perform a Spring Presentation in May and in order to give their best and be fully prepared, students need to build the necessary skills that can only be learned in the classes leading up to the rehearsals. Registration will close for these classes on the first day of Spring Break.

Register	Riverview - Creative Drama	Grades K-5. Held at the Panther Trace Clubhouse. This developmental drama class will include a wide range of creative activities that promote leadership, communication skills, & self-confidence. Build a foundation of drama skills such as projection, articulation, dramatic movement, & improvisation. Make magic happen during group scenes then take the spotlight in an imaginative solo scene! This program offers a dynamic, immersive experience that fosters growth in singing, dancing, and acting. Through a structured curriculum, children develop essential performance skills, creativity, and teamwork. Take 2 emphasizes confidence, self-expression, and discipline, preparing students for both on and off the stage in a supportive environment. Take 2 Performance Academy is designed to ignite creativity and confidence in young performers. Through engaging activities, children will explore singing, acting, and dancing, developing essential performance skills. Vocal training will improve pitch, projection, and articulation, while acting exercises enhance stage presence and character development. Dance routines will boost coordination and physical expression. With a focus on teamwork and collaboration, students will showcase their talents in a final musical performance.
