The world we live in today is in constant motion…It is truer today that the only constant is change.
But with all the advances of technology, communication and information sharing, there is one thing that is even more true in the world – Our need for “LEADERSHIP”.
The very essence of Leadership is the ability to communicate effectively. To be articulate, poised, and self-confident in presentation is the cornerstone of success. When these learnable skills have been instilled into children, they serve as a foundation for which to build upon. This platform will last a lifetime and lend itself to their success.
Drama Kids of the Triad is an award-winning, curriculum-based developmental program designed for developing and instilling these skills. We use a wide range of unique drama activities to focus on the bold, outspoken child and to draw out the quiet or inarticulate child in order to help our children reach into themselves and discover their full potential.
Nic Kursonis was the quiet kid who could do funny voices but didn’t find his confidence and calling until high school Drama class with Pam Wheeler. He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Media Communication and where he also wrote, directed, and starred in a sketch comedy show: Friday Night Live.
He joined Drama Kids in the fall of 2018 on the recommendation of his barber, former band teacher, and Karen Hincher. He doesn’t need much to see the writing on the wall. He hopes to see Drama Kids of the Triad grow bigger than ever before, to reach kids like him who just want to feel seen.
Speaking clearly and confidently and relaying thoughts and ideas with others provides an “inside track” to a lifetime of success. The communication, social, and presentation skills honed through our drama-based, accredited curriculum can enable children to be the recognized leaders of tomorrow.
We are a place where all children, from the shy to the outgoing, can develop at their own pace with plenty of encouragement. Our specialty is helping your children “Be the Best They Can Be!”
