Drama Teacher JeffJeff Rocco
Drama Teacher

Jeff Rocco has been working on, off and around stages since he was 12 years old. His passion for theater and love of teaching quickly evolved into jobs teaching and coordinating after school programs in New York City, Spokane, Seattle and more. Some of his favorite roles include Patrick in Mame, Cowardly Lion and Tinman in the Wizard of oz (not in the same show though!), and Tom Sawyer in Big River. Whether he is working at the Boys and Girls Club, local community theaters or with professionals, Jeff loves this work and loves sharing the magic of theater and drama with everyone he meets.

Hello! I’m Miss Lena and I am so excited to spend the year with your Drama Kids! I have a strong theater background and am a former middle school Spanish teacher. When I am not inspiring your kiddos to new dramatic heights, I am a Paraeducator in Special Education here in Maple Valley.

Eva Sheikis
Drama Teacher

Eva Sheikis has been performing on stage since he was 14 years old. After receiving her Bachelor’s in Theatre Arts, she was hired as a drama actress at The Perm Academic Theatre where she worked for three years. She’s got a lot of stage experience as an actress and a drama teacher. Her love for theater and teaching is endless. Some of her favorite roles include Little Red Riding Hood, Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie, Liz Henson in Dogville and many others. Eva loves working for Drama Kids because it allows her to share her theater experience with children. Eva believes that every kid has a unique talent and a drive for expression. Encouraging students and helping them to bring out their best on stage is her goal.

Jackie Edwards
Drama Teacher

Jackie began her musical and theatrical journey at age five when she took up the piano. In high school, she played several lead roles and decided that she wanted to pursue theatre. She received her BFA in Theatre from Pacific Lutheran University and went on to play leading roles in many shows around the NW and California. Some of her favorites include Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha and most recently Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast and Fraueline Schneider in Cabaret. She shares her passion for theatre and performing with her husband Phil, and you will often see them in shows together. She hopes to ignite the passion for theatre in her students, and is thrilled to have the opportunity with Drama Kids to do so.

Patrick Moore
Drama Teacher

Patrick’s passion for theater and performing arts has been a life-long journey. Patrick received his theater training at the University
of New Mexico. As a company member with Perseverance Theatre in Juneau, Alaska, he enjoyed performing many roles. Some of his favorites have been: Stanley in Streetcar, Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman, Astrov in Uncle Vanya and Fredrick in Noises Off. His
Shakespearian roles include Bottom, Babtista, Leontes, Macbeth, and Malvolio. As a teacher, and director, he has coached and taught all of the ages, Pre-K through 12th grade. Patrick enjoys sharing his experience and passion for the stage with aspiring actors of all ages.
