I am Rachael Harrell, the Director of DKI Northern Michigan. A Michigan native, I attended college at University of Michigan and received my Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from Roosevelt University in Chicago. After working as a professional actor for several years, I diversified and moved “behind the scenes” with producer Mark Burnett on television shows like “Survivor” and “The Apprentice”. I also developed scripted sit-com and drama pilots in a partnership with Warner Brothers studio and developed and produced independent films with the company Perfect Weekend. I’ve worked closely with talented producers, directors, casting directors, and actors. I know first hand that these experiences stick with us and that POSITIVE Drama Arts Education makes all the difference in developing confidence and life skills.
Drama Develops Kids! We take great pride in our program and are committed to making sure your child receives an excellent experience. In order to grow, students need to gain independence and self-esteem, yet work as a team. They want to be challenged, but feel supported and praised for their efforts. All of these qualities are wonderfully built through drama and in particular, through our Drama Kids and Acting Academy programs. Interested in having the Drama Kids program in your child’s school?
