Our community program brings the Drama Kids award-winning curriculum to your community! DRAMA ISN’T JUST FOR KIDS WHO WANT TO BE ACTORS! Our classes help children and young adults develop important life skills: Public Speaking, Creative Thinking, Collaboration, Problem Solving, Leadership, And More!

The Grasshopper & The Ants

Lower Primary (Drama Kids Grades 1-3)

The youngest of our Drama Kids will be expert story-tellers of this fable as they bring this story to life “from the page to the stage.” You’ll be super BUGGED if you miss out on this much “ANT-cipated” performance! So, run run run … to the THE DENNOS MUSEUM to see our little ‘bugs’ SHINE on stage as they work hard for the winter, while teaching the Grasshoppers a lesson or two along the way. Drama Develops Kids! Enthusiastic students who learn to speak out clearly and relate confidently with others will have an inside track to lifetime success. Drama Kids has no auditions and every student is a star. We are committed to creating a fun atmosphere for our students to practice a wide set of skills and shine. Performance is Monday, May 6, in Milliken Auditorium at the Dennos Museum Center.

School for Superheroes (Drama Kids Grades 3-5)

Learn how to save the day in the School for Superheroes. Even superheroes have to go to school. And, where there are superheroes there is always a villain! It’s a low-pressure, high energy, super-fun experience! Drama Develops Kids! Enthusiastic students who learn to speak out clearly and relate confidently with others will have an inside track to lifetime success. Our specialty is using a wide range of unique drama activities to focus the bold, outspoken child and to draw out the quiet child or the inarticulate child and help them reach into themselves to discover their full potential. Drama Kids has no auditions and every student is a star. We are committed to creating a fun atmosphere for our students to practice a wide set of skills and shine. Performance is Monday, May 6, in Milliken Auditorium at the Dennos Museum Center.

Murder at Mornington Manor (Drama Kids Acting Academy Middle and High School Students)

Join the DKI Acting Academy students along with their eccentric characters as they try to solve a good old-fashioned murder mystery. Set in the 1920s, this play is full of suspense, humor, and of course DRAMA. You are sure to have a “Roaring” good time as you discover the motives behind the possible murderers! DKI Acting Academy is for teens who want to expand their skills in acting, public speaking, and performing. As students participate in dramatic activities and stage actual performances, they build confidence and learn to think more creatively. That foundation can have a dramatic impact on academic, personal, and professional success! Performance is Monday, May 6, in Milliken Auditorium at the Dennos Museum Center.
