I am Alissa Clifton, the Director of Drama Kids of Northwest Florida. I am the mother of 8 kids and spent the last 30 years raising them, volunteering at their schools, chaperoning, serving on the Student Advisory Council, and judging speech, debate, and dramatic competitions. I spent several years running my own children’s party business. I’ve been in love with theater ever since my father cast me in my first play at the age of 6. Since then, I’ve participated in countless plays, performances, and competitions in just about every capacity: performing, directing, writing, judging, stage crew, and costuming. I love every aspect of the Drama Kids program. I love seeing how the kids blossom into confident speakers and performers. I know the skills they learn in our fun classes will transfer seamlessly into their daily lives at home, at school, and in the future as they go to college and into the workforce.
